Due to the impact of heavy rain lasting from the night of October 7 after the circulation of storm No. 11 (MATMO), the Huu Lung Regional Medical Center, Lang Son province is currently suffering from severe flooding and is completely isolated.
On the morning of October 8, informing Lao Dong reporter, the unit representative said that the water had risen to the stairs of the operator's house, all departments and rooms on the first floor were deeply submerged in water.

Some ambulances, although moving to higher ground, are now flooded, severely affecting treatment and emergency care.
Currently, the Center has nearly 300 patients being treated as inpatients.
In the context of shortage of food, drinking water and necessities, medical staff have mobilized all available resources to ensure the safety of patients, especially children and the elderly.

Thanks to external support, some milk was promptly delivered to the child patient.
However, the situation is still very tense. Many important medical equipment were moved to higher ground, but the rest was submerged in floodwater, at risk of severe damage.
Faced with this situation, Huu Lung Medical Center sent out an urgent signal calling for the cooperation of organizations, businesses, philanthropists and the social community to support food, drinks, medicine and household items to help staff and patients overcome the critical stage.
Not only the central hospital was affected, many commune health stations in Huu Lung were also isolated due to rapidly rising water.

Medical stations in Huu Lung, Yen Binh, Van Nham communes (Nhat Tien station) were all deeply flooded, making it very difficult to move medical equipment.
At Yen Binh Commune Health Station, the X-ray room was flooded, threatening to cause severe damage.
Support and supply from outside also faced many obstacles when many medical staff could not reach the Center due to cut off routes and interrupted communication systems in some areas.
