Weightlifting player Y Lien won another silver medal and a bronze medal at the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival when he achieved high performance in the women's 53kg weight class on October 28.
In the competition results, Y Lien won a silver medal in the push-up event when achieving a weight of 106kg and a bronze medal in the judging event with a result of 82kg.
At the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival, weightlifting will only count the achievements in the jostling and push-ups to award medals to athletes. The total results are not counted for medals.
In the women's 53kg weight class, athlete Park Hae Yon ( DPRK) won 2 gold medals (88kg for the 88kg jacket, 107kg push-ups).
The Vietnamese weightlifting team has completed the events at the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival and achieved the result of 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals. In which, athlete Nguyen Thanh Duy won the gold medal in the men's 65kg weight class.
As of October 28, the Vietnam Sports Delegation has a total of 14 medals (1 gold medal, 6 silver medals, 7 bronze medals).
We have finished competitions including athletics, muay, taekwondo, golf, weightlifting. Currently, the Vietnam Sports delegation is ranked 19th.
On the total medal table, the Chinese sports delegation temporarily leads with 42 gold medals, 33 silver medals and 14 bronze medals.
In addition to Vietnam, sports delegations in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia have won gold medals.
