On the evening of October 11, the LION Championship 27 event will officially take place at Tay Ho Stadium (Hanoi), gathering the most notable names in the Vietnamese martial arts community and the region.
The highlight was the fierce confrontation in the 77kg weight class between Ly Van Huynh and Do Thanh Chuong. The match is considered a semi-final to find a worthy candidate to enter the championship belt match.
For Ly Van Huynh, this is an important comeback after a regrettable defeat to South African fighter - Armando de Crescenzo at LION Championship 19. Despite launching many powerful kicks with his left foot - the weapon that made his brand - he could not finish off his opponent. That defeat made the boxer born in 1998 more determined to regain the opportunity to compete for the title.
On the other side, Do Thanh Chuong is a name that cannot be underestimated. After a year of absence from the ring, he returned strongly and made his mark with a knockout victory over Le Hoang Nhat Long. Possessing a fast playing style, Thanh Chuong sets a big goal of entering the championship belt race for the first time.
Also in this event, Tran Quoc Tuan - national Thai Muay Thai champion will make his debut in the MMA arena under the Striking format. His opponent isvorapon Jayamram - a Thai young boxer who held the belt at Omnoi Stadium.

In the 65kg weight class of the MMA Striking format, the final match between Nguyen Van Lam and Luu Huy Duc also attracted attention. The two met in the quarterfinals and Van Lam won a narrow victory in the controversial match.
Thanks to the withdrawal of an opponent in the other branch, Huy Duc was unexpectedly given the opportunity to play again. In the most recent semi-final, this boxer impressed when he defeated Wushu athlete Dinh Van Can.
