The 2025 AVC Nations Cup will kick off on June 7 at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi).

At the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the Vietnam women's volleyball team is in Group A with Australia, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China) and India. Meanwhile, Group B includes Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia and New Zealand.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team are the current champions of the tournament for 2 consecutive years (2023, 2024). Therefore, the goal of the Vietnam women's team is to successfully defend their throne.

In terms of format, in each group, the teams will compete in a round-robin to calculate points and select 4 teams to enter the quarter-finals. The teams will be ranked based on the number of wins.

In case the two teams have the same number of victories, the sub-index is considered to be the number of points (if the match has a score of 3-0 or 3-1, the winning team is calculated 3 points;

Or when there are 2 or more teams equal in the first 2 ranking criteria, the winning/losing set score, the winning/losing point and the direct confrontation results are the basis for ranking.

All 35 matches at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 will be broadcast live on the VTVcab ON application.
