The swimming team has many core swimmers such as Nguyen Huy Hoang, Tran Hung Nguyen, Pham Thanh Bao, Tran Van Nguyen Quoc currently training in China.

ASIAD 20 is held in Aichi-Nagoya (Japan) from September 19 to October 4.
