On the evening of October 30 (Vietnam time), Vietnamese athletes will compete in the final events of the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival in subjects of chess, jujitsu and judo.
Athletes from these 3 sports all won medals. The best result went to player Bui Thi Thao Thom in the 55kg women's beach event weight class.
Thao Thom won 2 matches in the group stage and reached the semi-finals. In the semi-final, she defeated opponent Duangchit Kanokkon (Thailand) with a score of 2-0.
Entering the final, Thao Thom was in good spirits to compete with Anjali Anjali (India). Unfortunately, the Vietnamese player lost 1-2 and received a silver medal.
In addition to the above results, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation also won 1 more bronze medal in beach weightlifting (Lam Minh Gia Huy, men's 60kg weightlifting) and 2 bronze medals in jujitsu (Hoang Manh Luong - 48kg men's - 48kg, Nong Bao Ngoc - 48kg women's) and 1 bronze medal in judo (Pham Minh Tuyet, 57kg women's).
The Congress will also compete on October 31. However, the Vietnam Sports Delegation has completed the events of this year's tournament. We won a total of 1 gold medal, 7 silver medals and 11 bronze medals.
The only gold medal achievement of the Vietnam Sports Delegation is in weightlifting. Meanwhile, the Vietnam Sports Delegation is ranked 21st. After October 31, the final positions on the total medal table of the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Championship in Bahrain were determined.
