Today, November 21, shooters of the sungoline event of the Vietnam Shooting Team went to Korea for professional training to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.
In the participants of this training session for the pistol event, 2 key shooters Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy participated. In addition, other important shooters in the sungfication event preparing for the 33rd SEA Games will practice in Korea.
The coaching staff of the Vietnam Shooting Team said that the training session will last 2 weeks, and the whole team is expected to return home in the first week of December. During the training session, Mongolian experts in the sport of sungoline accompanied the shooters.
Meanwhile, shooters of the rifle category of the Vietnam Shooting Team will train in Thailand at the same time. Training in Thailand helps Vietnamese shooters get the best acquainted with the climate of their home country before officially competing in the 33rd SEA Games.
After the training session, the gunmen returned home in the first week of December.
At the recent professional test of Vietnamese shooters preparing for the 33rd SEA Games at the National High-level Athletes' Training Center (Hanoi), Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong requested the Training Board to ensure the best training equipment and expertise for each athlete to maintain their form when competing in the 33rd SEA Games.
In October this year, the Vietnam Shooting Team competed in the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship held in Bangkok (Thailand). The shooting school that organizes the tournament will be the official competition venue for the 33rd SEA Games shooting event.
