In the Northern region, after an increase of about 1,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs currently fluctuates mainly from 61,000 - 62,000 VND/kg. Of which, many localities such as Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Hung Yen, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh and Phu Tho recorded the highest level in the country at 62,000 VND/kg.
Provinces such as Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Dien Bien and Son La also increased prices slightly, commonly at 61,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, many provinces continue to record an increase of 1,000 VND/kg. Thanh Hoa maintained the leading position at 62,000 VND/kg, along with Nghe An also increased to a high level. The remaining localities are generally around 60,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.
Unlike the North and Central regions, the Southern draft pig market has not fluctuated much. The purchase price is maintained by traders in the range of 58,000 - 62,000 VND/kg. An Giang, Ca Mau, Can Tho are the only 3 localities in the country at the threshold below 60,000 VND/kg.
