Mr. Vu Trung (Hanoi) learned that many units are not recognizing young volunteer intellectuals as priority candidates in civil servant and public employee recruitment exams.
"So, if young intellectual volunteers complete their 24-month mission, will they still be given priority and extra points in civil servant recruitment? If so, according to which document?" - Mr. Vu Trung wondered.
Regarding the reflection and recommendation of Mr. Vu Trung, the Ministry of Home Affairs said: Clause 3, Article 13 of Decree No. 33/2023/ND-CP dated June 10, 2023 stipulates on commune-level civil servants and non-professional workers at the commune level in villages and residential groups.
Accordingly, the subjects and priority points in the examination or selection of civil servants at the commune level: Young intellectual volunteers participating in rural and mountainous development and non-professional workers at the commune level for 24 months or more who have been assessed as having completed their tasks or more will have 2.5 points added to the results of round 2.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that, based on the above regulations, young intellectual volunteers who complete their 24-month mission will have their points added to their second round results when participating in the recruitment of commune-level civil servants.
