On August 24, the Government Office announced that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had just signed Official Letter No. 1026/TTg-PL requesting ministries, branches and localities to focus on directing the work of building and perfecting institutions and laws.
The document clearly states the need to continue to strengthen the work of building and perfecting institutions and laws, ensuring discipline, order, quality, timeliness and efficiency.
The Prime Minister requests ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities, according to their functions, tasks, and authority, to directly direct and be responsible to the Government, the Prime Minister, and the law for the work of building and perfecting institutions and laws.
At the same time, urgently develop and complete the submission to competent authorities of draft laws and resolutions of the National Assembly, draft decrees and resolutions of the Government, decisions of the Prime Minister detailing and guiding the implementation of laws and resolutions of the National Assembly; urgently issue documents detailing and guiding the implementation, ensuring quality and on schedule according to regulations.
The Prime Minister requested Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the sector, ministers, and heads of ministerial-level agencies to focus on directing, promoting responsibility, proactively working, and strengthening coordination with the agencies of the National Assembly and relevant agencies in the process of developing and perfecting draft laws and resolutions.
Timely guide the application of the law according to authority or report to competent authorities on any problems arising beyond authority.
Strictly implement assigned tasks on law-making according to the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister; at the same time, continue to focus on reviewing and clearly identifying difficulties, obstacles and inadequacies due to legal regulations.
Proactively amend and improve relevant legal regulations according to functions, tasks, and authority; promptly report and propose to competent authorities on issues beyond authority.
