Consider businessmen as soldiers on the economic front
This morning (May 18), a national conference was held in Hanoi to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
At the conference, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh summarized the key and core contents of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development and implementation plans.
The Prime Minister stated that Resolution 68-NQ/TW sets out 5 breakthrough guiding viewpoints on private economic development (PPD).
Accordingly, the KTTN is the most important driving force of the national economy.
Developing a rapid, sustainable, efficient, high-quality IT is both a key, urgent task and a long-term strategic one. In which, the KTTN is the most important method to unleash production power, activate, mobilize, and effectively use all resources, especially from the people.
Gradually eliminate awareness, ideology, concept, and prejudice towards the environment; consider businessmen as soldiers on the economic front. Only then can we truly ensure that the ITS is equal to other economic sectors, especially in accessing resources.
Create an open and transparent business environment, ensuring regional and global competitiveness; promote the spirit of entrepreneurship, legitimate enrichment, and contribution to the country.
"This is an issue of special significance, creating a solid foundation to promote strong development and promote the role of the State Audit in participating in important and strategic tasks of the country, reaching regional and world levels," the Prime Minister emphasized.

The Prime Minister said that he has directed the Ministry of Home Affairs to prepare to launch a movement for the entire population to compete to get rich, contributing to the construction and protection of the Fatherland.
Strengthen the leadership role of the Party, create the State, take enterprises as the center, the subject; honor, encourage, and develop a strong team of entrepreneurs.
The head of the Government emphasized the goal of 2030 of the corporate world being the most important driving force of the national economy; being a pioneer in developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
There are 2 million enterprises operating in the economy, 20 enterprises operating/respecting the people; there are at least 20 large enterprises participating in the global value chain. The average growth rate reached about 10-12%/year, higher than the growth rate of the economy; contributing about 55-58% of GDP, 35-40% of total state budget revenue.
Strive to have at least 3 million enterprises operating in the economy by 2045; contributing about 60% of GDP.
8 groups of tasks and solutions
The Resolution sets out 8 groups of tasks and solutions demonstrating the spirit of innovation, breakthroughs, and strong reform.
These are: Innovation in thinking, awareness and action; reforming and improving institutional quality; increasing access to resources; promoting science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; strengthening business connections; developing large private enterprises; supporting small and micro private enterprises, business households; promoting the role of the business community.
The Prime Minister also requested media agencies and newspapers to focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda information. Harassment, negative acts, spreading false information, affecting businesses and entrepreneurs are strictly prohibited.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the urgent need to review and complete the legal framework for individual business; narrow the gap in management organizations and financial and accounting regimes to encourage business households to convert to enterprises; eliminate the form of corporate tax for business households.
In particular, priority must be given to business owners and business households such as young people, women, vulnerable groups, ethnic minorities, mountainous areas, border areas, islands and inclusive business models, creating social impacts.
The Prime Minister noted that recently, some localities have not done well, and have been discussed to overcome them.
