On the morning of July 21, at the Presidential Palace, Party Central Committee member and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan met with delegates attending the 6th Global Vietnam Young Intellectuals Forum in 2025.
Expressing her emotion when meeting with young Vietnamese intellectual delegates, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan welcomed the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize the 6th Global Vietnam Young intellectuals Forum in 2025 in a special context, the whole country is implementing the organization of 2-level local government and preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
Through the tournaments, the Forum not only arouses the sense of responsibility, love for the homeland and aspiration to contribute of young intellectuals, expressing the aspiration to " play the role of the great powers of the five continents" that Uncle Ho always wished for; creating a space to connect young intellectuals around the world, spreading the spirit of innovation, and actively contributing to the development of the country.
Reviewing the current context in the world, the region and the country, the Vice President said that the Party, the State and the entire people are making efforts to implement many major policies, including rearranging the organization of the apparatus, administrative boundaries and operating the two-level local government model. In particular, the Central Government has issued 4 key resolutions: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW. These resolutions are closely related and need to be studied comprehensively and synchronously to realize the goal of becoming a developed country with high income on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the country's founding in 2045.

Emphasizing the role of young intellectuals in " Solving the problem of national development", the Vice President suggested that young intellectuals - the country's elite and human resources, continue to promote national pride, patriotism, determine their mission, responsibility and honor to join hands in building the country in the new context, entering a new era. Young intellectuals must grasp the trend of the times, be sensitive to domestic and international politics; set personal goals and aspirations, and link research projects with life to make real and effective contributions.
Noting some major issues facing the current Vietnamese socio-economic situation, the Vice President emphasized that young intellectuals focus on researching "calculation" on the development of transport infrastructure, information technology, agricultural processing industry, bio-industry, building a national brand for Vietnamese rice; improving the physical and intellectual strength of Vietnamese people; developing cultural industries and high-value services such as finance, logistics...; at the same time proactively adapting to natural disasters, climate change, especially in vulnerable areas such as the Central region, Mekong Delta...
The Vice President suggested that the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union continue to maintain and develop the Forum as a platform to connect young intellectuals, creating an environment for exchange, sharing, spreading the spirit of creativity and giving ideas for national development. Along with that, relevant ministries and branches need to coordinate to propose policies on talent promotion according to the direction of General Secretary To Lam. That is, in August, ministries and branches must propose outstanding policies to attract 100 overseas Vietnamese experts to work abroad, moving towards building a strategy to attract and develop intellectual resources by 2030, with a vision to 2050.
