On August 27, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the state agencies (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025), reviewing the construction and development journey of the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
At the ceremony, Mr. Do Huu Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - emphasized that since President Ho Chi Minh signed the Declaration of the establishment of the Provisional Government in 1945, the sectors of state agencies such as Home Affairs, Finance, Justice, Construction, Culture - Sports - Tourism, the Provincial People's Committee Office has gone through many historical periods, from war to peace, always excellently completing professional tasks and contributing to resistance wars and socio-economic development.
In the current context, departments and branches are streamlined, effective, efficient, consolidated and expanded in functions, including: Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Construction, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Justice and Provincial People's Committee Office. The sectors continue to affirm the role of "Ministry" in advising, applying information technology, building e-government, reforming administration, and improving the quality of service to the people.
The sectors of Home Affairs, Finance, Justice, Construction, Culture - Sports - Tourism have made a strong impression in budget management, urban planning, infrastructure development, cultural heritage conservation, sports development, tourism and creating a transparent legal environment. These efforts contribute to making Hung Yen a dynamic and modern province with GRDP per capita in 2025 estimated at 101.7 million VND, total budget revenue in the first 7 months of the year reached 61,607 billion VND, ranking 4th in the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - praised the contributions of the sectors, suggested continuing to innovate, create, unite, improve professional capacity, public ethics, complete socio-economic development tasks according to the province's orientation, focus on digital transformation, international integration, private economic development and key projects.
With an 50-year tradition, the state agencies of Hung Yen province are determined to unite, be creative, and excellently complete all tasks, contributing to building a rich and civilized Hung Yen province, becoming a strong growth pole of the Red River Delta.
On this occasion, authorized by the President, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee awarded the Third Class Independence Medal to the Department of Home Affairs. Mr. Nguyen Khac Than awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 6 groups for their outstanding achievements in implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security of the province.
