Proposing new regimes and policies for non-specialized workers in villages

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposes to consider and resolve regimes and policies suitable for non-specialized workers in villages and residential groups.

In the afternoon of April 23, continuing the First Session, the 16th National Assembly, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Bui Thi Minh Hoai presented a summary report of opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the session.

According to the report, voters and people are interested in and highly appreciate the results achieved in building a clean and strong Party and political system;

Expressing confidence in the Party's leadership when the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity continues to be strongly and drastically directed, thoroughly handling serious and complex cases and incidents of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity that are of public concern.

People support and highly appreciate the drastic direction to remove difficulties and obstacles, put into operation and use many slow-progressing and prolonged projects, in order to unlock resources and increase economic development growth.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also said that voters and people are outraged and worried about the distortions of high-tech crimes, especially the situation of fraud, with increasingly sophisticated tricks in cyberspace, to appropriate people's money and property, causing panic in society.

Voters and people are also concerned about the situation of high prices of some essential goods; the issue of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, smuggling, trade fraud; dirty food; environmental pollution in some places has not been completely resolved.

Many opinions suggested strengthening inspection and examination work, early detection and strict handling of violations, protecting the health and legitimate rights of consumers and people.

Voters and people want all levels of government to effectively use redundant workplaces due to the arrangement of administrative units; promptly overcome the situation that many projects are still abandoned and degraded; key investment projects are still behind schedule.

Based on the opinions and recommendations of voters and people, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed that the Party and State pay attention to directing the timely removal of difficulties in implementing 2-level local government, ensuring that the government operates effectively, close to the people, and serves the people best.

At the same time, consider and resolve regimes and policies for cadres and civil servants at the grassroots level; non-specialized personnel in villages and residential groups in accordance with the increasing task requirements of the local government at 2 levels.

Recommend that the Party and State pay attention to and continue to have policies to support stabilizing gasoline and oil prices, agricultural materials... creating conditions for businesses and people to produce and do business, stabilize and improve their lives.

Recommend that the Party and State direct to have more fundamental, synchronous, and drastic solutions to end environmental pollution in general, especially paying attention to solving air pollution in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; food insecurity to ensure health safety for people, especially children, students and the elderly.
