In the context that South Sudan continues to contain many complex factors, Vietnamese forces participating in United Nations peacekeeping operations (PKO) in South Sudan have been and are proactively strengthening coordination and coordination to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's prestige and position in the international arena.

In the process of performing tasks, the People's Police Force (CAND) and the Vietnam People's Army (QĐND) always maintain close and effective coordination.

Within the framework of strengthening coordination, Task Force No. 8 of the Ministry of Public Security (BCA) and Task Force of the Ministry of National Defense (BQP), with the core being Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7, just organized an online working session to exchange information and share practical experiences in the area.

The content of the exchange focused on practical issues, close to the working conditions at the mission. Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7 introduced 4 practical topics focusing on the following contents:

Mental health in a special task environment, emphasizing stress, insomnia and adaptation solutions. Common infectious diseases in the area such as macadamia, cholera, malaria and preventive measures.

Common medical risks include accidents caused by animals, insects, and environmental factors. The use of vaccines, effectiveness, side effects, and recommendations are suitable for the conditions of South Sudan.

The two forces also exchanged information on the local situation, supported each other in professional work and life, especially during the force rotation of field hospitals. This coordination contributed to ensuring safety, stability and improving the overall operational efficiency of the Vietnamese force at the mission.

Through exchanges, the two sides reached a high consensus on the view that the Vietnamese forces in the mission are a unified whole, need to closely coordinate and comprehensively support each other in all aspects of work.

Immediately after the working session, the BCA task force led by Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Doan directly mobilized to Bentiu to visit, work and coordinate with the BQP forces.

On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1), the two forces also agreed to coordinate the organization of cultural and artistic exchange activities, contributing to spreading the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends.
