On October 28, the People's Council of Quang Tri province, term VIII, 2021-2026, held a 3rd session (special session) to review, discuss and approve many important contents to serve the direction and operation of the province.
At the session, the Provincial People's Council plans to review the resolutions, focusing on the fields of economy, public investment, science - technology, environment and social security policies.
Notably, there is a resolution stipulating the fee of 0 VND for some types of fees and charges when performing online public services, to encourage people to use digital services, contributing to promoting digital transformation in administrative reform.
The meeting also plans to approve the list of land plots for investment projects using land (phase 2 - 2025), adjust the medium-term public investment plan for 2021-2025, and a resolution to supplement the list of works and projects to reclaim land in 2025, creating a legal basis for attracting investment, developing infrastructure and urban areas.
In addition, the Provincial People's Council will consider a resolution on subsidy policies for militia forces, allowances for village captains, policies to support people working outside the staffing quota at special associations, and a resolution on youth development in Quang Tri province for the period 2021-2030.
Notably, the session also considered the repeal and application of a number of legal documents of the People's Councils of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces (before the merger), to ensure unity in state management and development management after completing the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units.
According to the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Tri province, this thematic session is of great significance, aiming to promptly remove obstacles in management, perfect policy mechanisms, and promote local socio-economic development in the new period.
