At the conference, the Organizing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to mobilize and appoint Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Sa Dec City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien thanked the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for their trust and assignment of new tasks.
Mr. Thien promised to work with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Sa Dec City Party Committee to join hands, be unanimous, united, and unified in successfully implementing the Resolution of the Sa Dec City Party Congress, term 2020-2025 and completing the tasks assigned by the province. Including an annual growth target of 8% in 2025, as well as completing socio-economic development goals in the following years.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quoc Phong affirmed that Sa Dec is one of the three cities and also the economic locomotive of the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary believes that when taking on the new assignment, Mr. Thien will continue to promote his capacity and intelligence, have new development orientations for Sa Dec city, and contribute to the overall development of the province. In particular, it is necessary to focus on promoting investment calling, speeding up the implementation of projects in the city, paying attention to training and fostering cadres to have an inheritance force.
Sa Dec city was chosen by Dong Thap province as the venue for the Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Therefore, Mr. Phong suggested that from now on, the Secretary of the Sa Dec City Party Committee must work with the Standing Committee and the City Party Committee to focus highly, strive to complete the remaining targets of the Resolution, and carefully prepare for the organization of the Congress.
