On the morning of November 9, together with other localities across the country, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee will start construction of a boarding school for primary and secondary schools in Ia Lap, Ia Ri and Buon Don communes.
Attending were Central Party Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, leaders and representatives of departments and branches of Dak Lak province.

The three projects that are started this time are key projects in the School Construction Investment Program for border communes.
The projects are expected to create a breakthrough in developing educational infrastructure, improving people's knowledge, contributing to strengthening national defense and security in the Central Highlands border area.

The new Buon Don Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities will be built in Thong Nhat village, with a total investment of more than 158.6 billion VND. The school has a scale of 1,155 students, including boarding and semi-boarding students.
Ia R've Primary and Secondary Boarding School will be upgraded and expanded from the Nguyen Thi Dinh Secondary School, with a total investment of 126.7 billion VND and a scale of 1,125 students.
Ia Lap Primary and Secondary Boarding School will be upgraded and expanded from the facilities of Nguyen Trai Primary School and Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, with a total investment of 105 billion VND, with a scale of 980 students. According to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the simultaneous implementation of 3 projects is of great significance, demonstrating the special attention of the Party, State and Government to the education of border areas and ethnic minority areas, contributing to creating a better learning environment for children at the forefront of the Fatherland.

The Dak Lak Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board is the investor of the projects.
