Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc becomes Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee

Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc was assigned to be the Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed Decision No. 938/QD-TTg on consolidating the APEC 2027 National Committee.

According to Decision 938/QD-TTg, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc is the Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee. The Vice Chairman is Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung.

The members include: Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan; Deputy Minister of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang; Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung (Head of the Security and Health Sub-committee);

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang; Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc; Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung;

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang (Chairman of APEC Senior Officials, Head of the National Secretariat, Co-Head of the Content Subcommittee);

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan (co-Head of the Content Sub-committee); Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang (Head of the Propaganda and Culture Sub-committee); Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van (Head of the Protocol Sub-committee);

Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Office Nguyen Hoang Anh; Deputy Chairman of the Government Office Pham Manh Cuong (Head of the Sub-committee on Materials and Logistics);

Deputy Chief of the Government Office Don Tuan Phong; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang; Deputy Minister of Construction Le Anh Tuan; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong; Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan;

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Hoang Trung; Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan; Deputy Inspector General of the Government Nguyen Van Cuong; Vice President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nguyen Quang Vinh.

According to Decision No. 1507/QD-TTg, the APEC 2027 National Committee has the task of assisting the Prime Minister in directing, urging and coordinating between Subcommittees and the Secretariat, ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies in the process of preparing and organizing conferences and activities of APEC Year 2027.

The National Committee includes 5 Sub-committees: Content sub-committee, Materials and Logistics sub-committee, Security and Health sub-committee, Propaganda and Culture sub-committee, Protocol sub-committee.

The Secretariat is a standing department assisting the National Committee, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and directly directed by the Chairman of the Committee, with representatives from the Government Office, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
