On March 17, the military medical forces of Vietnam and China organized medical examinations and dispensed medicine to people in Hoanh Mo commune, Quang Ninh province (Vietnam) and Dongxing city, Guangxi (China).
This is one of the activities within the framework of the 10th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange.

Major General Tran Cong Truong - Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department - said that medical examination and treatment activities for people have noble political, social and humanitarian significance to show gratitude for the assistance and protection of the people and local authorities towards the armies of the two countries. This activity will contribute to enhancing the solidarity and friendship of the people and armies of the two countries in general and the military medical force in particular.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tieu Quan - Director of Hospital 924, Head of the Chinese delegation - expressed his joy when working with the military medical force of the Vietnam People's Army to implement this meaningful humanitarian program.
After the opening ceremony, at the Vietnam-China Friendship Cultural House, military doctors of the two countries organized medical examinations for people.

In the clinical examination area, doctors and nurses conduct general examinations, provide health status advice, and guide on disease prevention and treatment methods suitable for each specific case. The paraclinical examination area includes X-rays, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, and basic hematology-biological tests.
X-ray and test indications are performed according to the professional requirements of the clinical examiner, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis. After completing the medical examination process, people are consulted on treatment, free medicine is provided and guided on how to use medicine properly.
At the same time, military doctors of the two countries also organized medical examinations and free medicine distribution for people in Dongxing city, Guangxi (China).
