Aspiration to turn Quang Tri into a new growth zone
On the morning of October 5, the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, officially opened. Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien attended and directed the Congress.
Presenting the opening speech, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang said that the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress is an event of special historical significance, the first congress of the newly merged province, opening a period of strong development and change.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government and ministries, branches and localities that have always cared about and accompanied Quang Tri to overcome difficulties and challenges, gradually affirming its new position.
According to Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang, in the context of the country achieving many achievements after 40 years of renovation, Quang Tri has entered a new stage of development with intertwined opportunities and challenges.
The Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee said that with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress sets out 2 key tasks:
Comprehensively evaluate the results of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, clearly identify the advantages, limitations and causes, thereby determining specific goals and solutions for the new term.
Discuss and contribute opinions to documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.
New climate, new determination
Secretary Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the theme of the Congress is the crystallization of the will, belief and aspiration of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri.
The Congress identified the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity and development aspiration; mobilizing and effectively using all resources; promoting innovation, digital transformation; striving to make Quang Tri a new growth pole of the Central region".
The Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the theme demonstrates the high political determination and strong aspiration of the entire Party Committee, government and people in the province, and is also the expectation and expectation of the Central Government and people nationwide for Quang Tri.
On behalf of the Presidium, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang called on the entire Party Committee, army and people in the province to promote the revolutionary spirit and the resilient tradition of the heroic homeland, turning aspirations into concrete actions.
