This State visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, marks a new beginning in bilateral relations as both countries enter a new stage of development: Vietnam enters a new era of development after the very successful XIV National Party Congress, China begins to implement the 15th Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan.
The visit is a very important occasion to enhance strategic cohesion and establish a new height for the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries.
