On December 15, the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) said that the unit had organized the social security program "Spring of Connection - Tet of Love" in Lao Cai province.
In particular, the working group of the Vietnam National Industrial - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) returned to visit Kho Vang village - where the journey of sharing, accompanying and enduring affection of Petrovietnam workers after the historic storm a year ago was marked.
The Petrovietnam working delegation was led by Mr. Do Chi Thanh - Deputy General Director of the Group; The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Vice Chairman in charge of the Group's Trade Union, along with representatives of professional departments, the Group's Trade Union and member units.
Every year, especially every time Tet comes, with the spirit of "mutual love", cultural values "full of affection", Petrovietnam and its member units and workers implement many practical social security activities, towards the community.
In Kho Vang village, the Petrovietnam working group presented gifts to representatives of 35 households, presented gifts to teachers and students at Kho Vang village kindergarten, and supported 100 tons of cement for the Coc Lau commune government to contribute to improving and building the rural traffic system, serving local socio-economic development.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha hoped that the people would continue to preserve the tradition of solidarity and mutual love, and unite to build the Golden Kho to become a bright spot in the spirit of solidarity and civilization, spreading good cultural values to the ethnic communities in Lao Cai province and the Northern region.

Also on the occasion of implementing the program "Spring of Connection - Tet of Love", before that, the Petrovietnam working group visited Coc San commune - established on the basis of merging three old communes including Coc San, Dong Tuyen and Tong Sanh, with an area of 57.19 km2, a population of about 11,000 people, including 11 ethnic groups living together.
Due to the characteristics of the highlands, scattered population, and many economic difficulties, the whole commune currently has 282 poor and near-poor households, the lives of a part of the people still face many challenges, especially every time Tet comes and Spring comes.
Petrovietnam awards support of 300 million VND to disadvantaged households in Coc San commune
Faced with that reality, Petrovietnam has donated support funds to Coc San commune to take care of Tet for poor households and households in difficult circumstances during the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, contributing to bringing a warmer, more fulfilling Spring to the people.
Closing the journey in Kho Vang village and Coc San commune, the most profound thing is not only the support numbers, gifts given or the reconstruction works, but the warmth of the affection that has been spreading steadily between Petrovietnam workers and people in the mountainous areas of Lao Cai.
As the new spring is approaching, Petrovietnam's journey of sharing in the mountainous areas of Lao Cai once again affirms Petrovietnam's traditional culture of affection.
From those highland villages, the warmth of sharing will continue to spread, lighting up faith, hope and aspiration for a better life for each person, so that Spring can exist in every roof, every smile and every breath of life in the highlands of the Fatherland.
