The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 17 of Decree 216/2025/ND-CP stipulates the regime and policies for inspectors as follows:

1. occupational responsibility allowance regime for inspectors:

a) The Government Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General of the Government, and senior inspectors are entitled to a responsibility allowance according to the inspection profession equal to 15% of the current basic salary plus leadership position allowance and seniority allowance exceeding the framework (if any);

b) The main inspector is entitled to an inspection responsibility allowance equal to 20% of the current basic salary plus leadership position allowance and seniority allowance exceeding the framework (if any);

c) Inspectors are entitled to an inspection responsibility allowance equal to 25% of their current basic salary plus leadership position allowance and seniority allowance exceeding the framework (if any).

2. In addition to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article, inspectors are entitled to the rights of cadres and civil servants according to the provisions of the law on cadres and civil servants and relevant laws; are entitled to salary, seniority allowances and other specific regimes and policies according to the provisions of law.

3. Inspectors who are officers in the People's Army, People's Public Security, and people working in secret services are entitled to the regimes prescribed for armed forces, special secret service allowances, and responsibility allowances according to the inspection profession as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.

Thus, from August 5, 2025, the regime and policies for inspectors are implemented according to the above regulations.
