On December 13, the leader of the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa province said that on December 19 and 20, a Vietnam - Korea cultural exchange program will take place in Nha Trang city in Khanh Hoa.
The exchange program will include activities to learn about and experience Khanh Hoa art at Nha Trang Bay Assembly Hall, Hon Chong - Hon Do scenic spots; exchanges between Korean and Khanh Hoa artists; and a Vietnam - Korea cultural exchange art program.
On this occasion, Vietnamese and Korean artists will experience the use of traditional musical instruments of the two countries. The art troupe of Ulsan City - Korea will also bring to the audience of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa special art performances.
In September 2024, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized a conference to promote Khanh Hoa - Korea investment with the participation of 150 businesses from both sides. According to the leaders of Khanh Hoa province, since the cooperation milestone in 2002, Korea has become one of the leading economic partners of Khanh Hoa province. The total direct investment capital from Korea in Khanh Hoa accounts for 9.18% of the total foreign investment capital in the province.
According to statistics from Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in the first 11 months of 2024, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism welcomed more than 10 million visitors. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 4.2 million, an increase of 125% over the same period (exceeding the plan by 41%) and Korea is the leading country, accounting for more than 40% of the total number of international visitors to Khanh Hoa.
