According to the Department of Culture and Information of Sa Pa town, the occupancy rate of accommodation facilities during the April 30 holiday is estimated at over 85%, the 3-star segment or higher reaches about 95%. Customers tend to book rooms close to the holidays, so it is predicted that room occupancy will continue to change every day throughout the long holiday.
Many hotels in famous tourist destinations in Quang Ninh such as Ha Long, Co To, Van Don, Mong Cai were fully booked, with an estimated capacity of 80-90% before the holiday.
In Hue, the accommodation system, especially high-end resorts and hotels with 3 stars or more, has proactively prepared carefully in terms of human resources and facilities since the beginning of the year. Currently, 3-star hotels and above have recorded booking capacity exceeding 85%, on April 30 and May 1 alone, the capacity almost reached the maximum level.
"On the occasion of April 30, 1.5, guests have almost closed rooms. It is almost also a common situation for other hotels in the city. Currently, we have stopped receiving more reservations of guests in the first 3 days of the holiday season, from 30.4-2, with a capacity of nearly 100%" - Mr. Le Phuoc Khanh - Director of Hue peaceful hotel - said.
According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang, the room capacity of the accommodation facilities from 4-5 stars and equivalent to 75-80% in the upcoming occasion.
