The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a decision on determining and announcing the commune-level investment incentive area in the province.
Accordingly, the list of commune-level investment incentives with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions and difficult socio-economic conditions is determined and announced according to the provisions of Appendix III issued with Decree No. 31/2021/ND-CP dated March 26, 2021 of the Government as follows:
1. The area has particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, including 8 communes: Dai Son, Son Dong, Tay Yen Tu, Duong Huu, Yen Dinh, An Lac, Van Son, Tuan Dao.
2. The area has difficult socio-economic conditions, including 28 communes and wards:
Of which, there are 26 communes: Bien Dong, Luc Ngan, Deo Gia, Son Hai, Tan Son, Bien Son, Sa Ly, Luc Son, Truong Son, Cam Ly, Dong Phu, Nghia Phuong, Luc Nam, Bac Lung, Bao Dai, Yen The, Bo Ha, Dong Ky, Xuan Luong, Tam Tien, Hop Thinh, Hiep Hoa, Hoang Van, Xuan Cam, Nam Duong, Kien Lao and 2 wards: Chu, Phuong Son.
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Finance, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Provincial Tax and relevant agencies to base on this Decision and relevant legal provisions to determine the subjects and apply investment incentives according to the provisions of current law.
The newly formed Bac Ninh province is based on the merger of Bac Giang province and the old Bac Ninh province, with an area of 4,718 km2, a population of 3.6 million people, and 99 communes and wards.
Bac Ninh currently has the 5th largest economic scale in the country. This locality aims to become a centrally-governed city before 2030; by 2045, it will be a green, civilized city, imbued with Kinh Bac cultural identity.
