Discussing the plan to use assets after the merger of Quang Tri and Quang Binh

Quang Binh - The first meeting of the No. 1 Working Group focused on reviewing assets, finances, and facilities to propose effective use plans after the merger.

On the afternoon of May 23, the Steering Committee for the consolidation and merger of administrative units of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces (Helping Group No. 1) held its first meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tran Phong - Chairman of Quang Binh People's Committee, leader of the No. 1 assistant group. Attending the meeting were Mr. Hoang Nam - Acting Chairman of Quang Tri People's Committee, and leaders of the People's Committee of the two provinces and members of the working group.

At the meeting, delegates listened to a report on the initial review of assets, finance, human resources and material conditions of agencies and units after the merger. Statistical work has been carried out carefully, ensuring close coordination between sectors and localities to propose effective plans for using public resources, avoiding overlap and waste.

The No. 1 support team also discussed, gave comments and agreed on the draft assigning tasks to members. This is an important unit in ensuring stability and smooth administrative operations when the two provinces officially merge.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Phong emphasized that the No. 1 working group needs to uphold the sense of responsibility, closely follow reality, promptly advise on effective solutions so that the merger process takes place synchronously, creating a foundation for sustainable development for the province after the merger.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province also assigned a number of key tasks that need to be strengthened to ensure implementation progress.
