Determined not to let anyone go hungry
On the afternoon of July 26, information from the Border Guard Command said that with the determination not to let anyone go hungry due to natural disasters, Border Guard units under the Nghe An Border Guard mobilized forces to help people in areas affected by storms and floods.

Along with that, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province has arranged means, transported and provided military equipment, materials, necessities, blankets, tarpaulins, kitchen appliances and medicine to support the army and people in the area affected by storms and floods.
On the morning of July 26, Muong Ai Border Guard Station coordinated with Economic - Defense Group 4 to organize a March to distribute food to people in Muong tip commune.


Going to provide relief to households in Xop Phe village and Ta Do village, but because the road was seriously eroded, the People's Committee of the commune organized a food gathering in Xop Phe village, then used a boat to transport food to Ta Do village, including: instant noodles, milk, blankets, filtered water and clothes. These are 2 villages that have been isolated since July 21.
Relief flood prevention in Pha Mat village
After 5 days of isolation, the on-site forces of Nhon Mai Border Guard Station, Nhon Mai Commune and the functional forces marched and approached Pha Mot Village, Nhon Mai Commune to carry out emergency relief.
Due to sudden floods, Pha Mot village, Nhon Mai commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An suffered heavy damage with 10 Mong ethnic houses swept away, and 25 other households had to be urgently evacuated.

Traffic to the village was cut off, the village was located 8km from the center of Nhon Mai commune but had to walk for nearly 8 hours, the flood suddenly swept away the food and household items of the people. The infrastructure system was severely damaged. Many households were caught in scenes of sky-creen and soil glides.


To provide emergency relief to the people, the on-site forces of Nhon Mai Border Guard Station and local authorities crossed the access forest, promptly provided rice, instant noodles, dry food and medicine to help people stabilize their immediate needs.
Currently, in the area of Nhon Mai Border Guard Station, traffic is still being cut off, access to remote areas is mainly by foot, but with the determination not to let anyone go hungry or cold, the unit and local authorities have deployed working groups to bring food, provisions, and medicine over the forest to support people.
Up to now, the unit has basically reached 21/21 villages in the area. The unit is also implementing urgent relief activities in the spirit of sharing food and clothes with people.
