After the major flood caused by storm No. 3, the working group of the People's Committee of My Ly commune and My Ly Border Guard Station (Nghe An province) patrolled and discovered a large crack over 100m long, wide and covering the entire village on the mountain behind Xang Tren village.
To ensure the safety of the people, the local authorities and My Ly Border Guard Station are implementing measures.
According to Major Phan Duc Tam - Political Commissar of My Ly Border Guard Station, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command, if the landslide is on the mountain, it will cover the entire village, which is very dangerous for the people.
The local government and My Ly Border Guard Station agreed to evacuate the entire village to the cultural house and border station. Requesting superiors to soon have a support plan to evacuate people, ensuring the safety of people's lives.
It is known that Xang Tren village has 170 households/710 people, and in the recent historic flood, it suffered many losses in houses and property.
