Ca Mau - The whole province is expected to have 817 hamlets and clusters after completing the arrangement, a decrease of more than 41% compared to the present in order to streamline the apparatus and improve management efficiency at the grassroots level.

On June 2nd, the Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province said that localities in the province have completed the review and development of plans to arrange hamlets and clusters according to regulations.

Currently, the whole province has 1,393 hamlets and hamlets. Through review, 469 hamlets and hamlets meet the requirements for household size according to regulations; the remaining 924 hamlets and hamlets are subject to rearrangement and reorganization.

According to the plan proposed by the localities, after the arrangement is implemented, the whole province is expected to have 817 hamlets and clusters, a decrease of 576 units compared to the present, equivalent to about 41.35%.

The Department of Home Affairs is continuing to summarize, review and complete the overall plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision according to its authority.

Along with arranging hamlets and clusters, localities also conduct reviews of non-specialized personnel at the grassroots level.

The results show that the whole province currently has 3,793 people in this category; of which 1,762 people wish to continue working, 2,031 people wish to quit their jobs to enjoy regimes and policies according to regulations.

To ensure the implementation progress, the Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee requested localities to continue reviewing, updating and completing data to ensure accuracy and consistency; and at the same time urgently complete dossiers and plans to send to the Department of Home Affairs for summarization and submission to competent authorities for consideration.

Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee also requested departments and branches to strengthen coordination, promptly guide and remove difficulties and obstacles arising in the implementation process, especially contents related to administrative boundaries, regimes, policies and personnel arrangement after arrangement, ensuring that the reorganization of hamlets and clusters is implemented synchronously and effectively.
