    Khanh Hoa - According to the forecast, the flooding range in the locality is likely to spread tonight, low-lying areas may be flooded over 3.5m deep.

    According to the bulletin board on November 20 of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, in the past 24 hours (from 11:00 on November 19 to 11:00 on November 20), the province continued to have heavy rain to very heavy rain, many places recorded particularly heavy rainfall.

    Rain gauge stations recorded heavy rainfall such as: Thanh Son 315.9mm; Son Thai 359.4mm; Dai Lanh 472.3mm; Van Binh 349.9mm; Hoa Son Lake up to 634mm.

    The meteorological agency warned 32 communes and wards in the province to be at risk of flooding, including Suoi Dau, Suoi Hiep, Dien Khanh, Dien Dien Dien, Dien Lac; Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang; Bac Cam Ranh, Cam Ranh, Nam Cam Ranh, Ba Ngoi, Trung Khanh Vinh...

    The flooding range is likely to continue to spread and develop seriously in the afternoon and night of November 20. The flooding depth is forecast to be from 12.5m, low-lying areas may be flooded over 3.5m deep.

    Today, the Minister of Finance issued a decision on the issuance of national reserve rice in emergency situations to the People's Committees of Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai provinces.

    Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance directed the State Reserve to provide Khanh Hoa province with 2,000 tons of rice; Gia Lai province with 2,000 tons of rice to promptly support people in localities affected by floods.
