Stopping the car, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quan, a house in Toan Thang commune, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province, said that his house in Hanoi returned to his hometown from 7 am this morning. However, he struggled for more than 2 hours on the 5B highway but could not go far away. He had to leave the highway to turn to the old Highway 39. Going into the small road for small roads is only a little bit better. Many cars also turn from the highway like England, so Highway 39 also congested.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, a gasoline seller in Hung Yen on National Highway 39, said that this National Highway is often congested. Because there are many parallel highways, people rarely go to the old road. However, since this morning, National Highway 39 has been unusually crowded. Most people proactively choose to go from Hanoi and some people turn from Expressway 5B to get there.
According to previous records of Lao Dong Newspaper, some roads leading to the southern gateway were congested, the elevated Ring Road 3 traffic flow was slow.
Informing Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Traffic Safety Committee said that in order to ensure traffic, the Prime Minister issued Directive No. 39/CD-TTg on ensuring traffic order and safety to serve the travel needs of the people during the April 30 - May holiday and the peak summer tourism season in 2025.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister directed ministries, branches and localities to proactively monitor the actual situation, urge and supervise the best implementation of traffic safety assurance activities according to their functions, tasks and plans.
The Chairman of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities directs agencies, units, and functional forces to review local plans, ensuring closely following the plans and orientations of central ministries and branches; and assigning units.
Focus on managing and controlling common violations during holidays, routes, areas and times with high risk of traffic accidents and congestion in the area; Incorporate traffic safety content in the organization of transportation, tourism and resorts activities in the area.
Units organize 24/7 duty during the holiday season; strengthen coordination and information exchange on traffic safety assurance between units directly responsible for ensuring traffic safety in the area.
Ministries, branches and localities announce hotline numbers to ensure traffic safety and order to receive and promptly handle people's complaints during the holiday.
