On November 1, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a decision to establish the Steering Committee against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods of Khanh Hoa province (Steering Committee 389/KH), headed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the decision, the Deputy Heads of the Committee include: Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the field of industry and trade (Stalented Deputy Head of the Committee); Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Director of the Department of Finance, Director of the Provincial Police, Commander of the Provincial Military Command and Head of the Customs Branch of Region XIII.
The members of the Steering Committee are leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and functional units of the province.
Steering Committee 389/KH is responsible for developing programs and plans for combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in accordance with the actual situation in the locality.
Direct, inspect and urge departments, branches and localities to implement the fight against violations.
The Steering Committee also has the right to establish interdisciplinary teams to inspect and handle important cases related to many sectors and areas.
At the same time, organize a hotline to receive and process information and complaints from the people.
In addition, Steering Committee 389/KH is responsible for advising the Provincial People's Committee to propose amendments and supplements to legal documents to improve the effectiveness of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
Propose to reward collectives and individuals with achievements and strictly handle cases of covering up and assisting violations.
