On May 25, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee established a Working Group to direct, supervise and urge the peak period of fighting against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and intellectual property infringement in the area.
The working group consists of 22 people. In which, Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the Head of the Group.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 389, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee is the Standing Deputy Head of the Group.
The tasks of the Working Group include directing, inspecting, and urging departments, branches, localities, and functional forces to implement the directions of the central and provincial governments on combating smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.
Direct the inspection and recommendation of handling of organizations and individuals who lack a sense of responsibility, are negative, are lax in management, assist in smuggling, trade fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, and violate intellectual property rights.
Request relevant departments, branches, localities, and functional forces to provide information on the situation and results of combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the area and field of management.
Conduct a summary and evaluation of the implementation of the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 65; propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directions and solutions to solve important, inter-sectoral issues to improve the effectiveness of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods...
