An Giang Provincial Police transport relief goods to people in the Central region

An Giang - Police mobilized trucks weighing 45 tons to transport rice, instant noodles, canned foods, ... to support people in areas affected by natural disasters.

On the morning of November 1, in Rach Gia ward, An Giang Provincial Police held a launching ceremony for the program "accompanying people, workers, and youth in flood-affected areas" in the Central provinces that suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters.

In this period, An Giang Provincial Police mobilized a 45-ton truck to transport goods, including: 15 tons of rice, 4,500 boxes of instant noodles and canned foods, 10,000 notebooks for students and many other essential necessities. The total value of the shipment is estimated at about 1 billion VND, including 500 million VND in cash.

Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police shared: In recent days, natural disasters have caused severe damage to people in the Central provinces, seriously affecting the lives and activities of the people. Towards the Incarnation Central region, with the spirit of mutual love and support, the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves, An Giang Provincial Police have launched a fundraising and support movement to share some of the difficulties and losses with people in flooded areas.

This activity not only contributes to practically supporting people in affected areas to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives, but is also an opportunity for officers and soldiers of An Giang Police to promote the spirit of serving the people, spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police soldiers in the hearts of the people nationwide.

Hopefully, the relief shipment will promptly reach the people of the Central region, bringing the warmth of humanity and love and confidence from the Southwest region to the beloved Central region, Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc expressed.

Previously, in order to promptly share and support the people in the North to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, An Giang Provincial Police called on all officers and soldiers with affection and the spirit of mutual love, promoting the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", donating 1 day's salary with an amount of over 3.1 billion VND.
