On the afternoon of December 1, the family of T.V.Y (born in 2002, residing in Bac Nha Trang ward) sent a letter of thanks to the officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 for promptly saving her life that night.
Previously, at nearly 1:00 a.m. on November 30, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 received a report that someone had jumped from Binh Tan Bridge (Nam Nha Trang Ward). Immediately, the authorities deployed a working group and specialized vehicles to the scene in conditions of heavy rain and fast-flowing water.
The soldiers coordinated with the people to urgently search and discovered the victim in a state of fainting and critical condition. After bringing the victim to shore, the rescue team performed first aid in time, helping the victim wake up before transferring him to the hospital by fire truck.
After nearly two days of treatment, the young man fully recovered and was discharged from the hospital on the afternoon of December 1.
According to the thank you letter, the family expressed gratitude for the bravery, dedication and failure to manage the rainy and windy night of the officers and soldiers of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, especially the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1. Thanks to that, Y was saved and returned to his family.
