Practical livelihood models
The models not only help people stabilize their income but also create a foundation for the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and building new rural areas. In order to support livelihoods for households with sponsored children, on December 19, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kon Braih commune coordinated with the Project Plan to deploy a breeding pig model in the commune.

Households in villages 8 and 9 were supported with 12 adult breeding pigs, including 10 sows and 2 male sows. Supporting breeding animals in accordance with actual conditions helps households facilitate livestock development, gradually increase income, and stabilize their lives.

The model has practical significance as it both helps improve the household economy and contributes to caring for children, promoting socio-economic development in the locality. Currently, Kon Braih commune is maintaining and replicating 27 models to support people to work, develop the economy, and escape poverty sustainably.
Typical examples are the coffee tree planting and care model in village 4, the self-feeding tree breeding model in village 11. model of raising breeding cows in village 10; the organic rice production model in Dak Po Kong village; the production linkage model associated with the value chain and consumption of macadamia products.

In addition, the locality also deploys environmental sanitation models in 7/7 residential areas in the old Dak To Re commune and the old Tan Lap village; model of propaganda, dissemination of legal education according to Project 02-1133 of the Government; model of forest management and protection area; rural traffic self-management group; frugal rice jars, raising pigs and land to "share love".

Along with poverty reduction work, Kon Braih commune officials regularly go to the grassroots and villages to encourage people to limit alcohol consumption, overcome labor laziness; propagate a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and maintain environmental hygiene in villages and hamlets. Thanks to repeated propaganda and mobilization, outdated customs in mountainous areas have been gradually eliminated, and people's education has improved.
Clear impact on people's lives
Through the models, many poor and near-poor ethnic minority households have been able to access and apply technical advances to production. People know how to choose crop and livestock varieties with high economic value to develop livelihoods and increase income. People's awareness has been gradually raised, their daily lives have changed positively, and many outdated customs have gradually been eliminated.

Poverty reduction work has always been associated with the New Rural Development Program in the commune, achieving many positive results. Up to now, Kon Braih has met the new rural commune standards according to the set of criteria for the period 2021-2025, with 2 villages meeting the model new rural residential area standards and 9/21 villages (villages) meeting the new rural standards for ethnic minority areas.
