On June 3, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province inspected the progress of the investment project to build connecting roads to the industrial park of Nam Son ward, Bac Ninh city.
The project has a total length of more than 757m, with a total cost of more than 37.1 billion VND.
Starting construction in February 2025, the investor has accelerated the construction progress with the goal of putting the project into use soon, meeting the travel needs of people and workers between Nam Son - hap Linh industrial park with the existing residential area and neighboring roads.
For the accommodation for experts of Goertek Company and other enterprises located in Nam Son - hap Linh Industrial Park, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan assigned relevant departments, branches and sectors to closely coordinate with Bac Ninh city to study the formation of a management mechanism and operation functions of the accommodation area.
At the same time, calculate the number of accommodation experts, ensure that social infrastructure meets the requirements.
It is known that at the beginning of the year, Goertek Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on leasing nearly 31 hectares of land in Nam Son - hap Linh Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province to expand investment.
Of the total area of nearly 31 hectares of land that was just signed an MoU this time, Goertek plans to use about 25 hectares of land to expand investment for the new project. The remaining area of the administrative and service land of the industrial park will be implemented by Goertek to build a residential area for experts and workers working at the Goertek Nam Son - hap Linh factory.
Goertek is Apple's AirPods production partner - officially invested in Bac Ninh since 2013, starting with the establishment of Goertek Vina Co., Ltd. in Que Vo Industrial Park.
To date, Goertek Group has invested in 4 projects in industrial parks in this province with a total registered investment capital of more than 1.3 billion USD.
Including 2 projects in Que Vo Industrial Park (total registered investment capital of 625 million USD) and 2 projects in Nam Son - hap Linh Industrial Park (total registered investment capital of 690 million USD).
