The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just approved a project to upgrade and expand provincial road 293, from Bac Giang ward to the branch road to Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Bac Ninh province.
Accordingly, the project construction location is at: Tan Tien Ward, Tan An Ward, Bac Lung Commune, Bac Ninh Province. The investor is the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province. The investor is the Bac Ninh Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 1.
The length of the route is about 8.92km; the road cross-section is 58.5m; designed speed is 80km/h; starting point is Km3+380 at the end of Van Son bridge in Tan Tien ward; ending point is Km13+300 at the intersection with the branch to Vinh Nghiem pagoda in Bac Lung commune (excluding the section from Km7+400 to Km8+400).
The total construction investment of the project is nearly 1,800 billion VND. Of which, the cost of compensation for resettlement is more than 608 billion VND, the construction cost is more than 870 billion VND and other costs include: equipment cost, project management cost...
Regarding the project implementation progress, the investment preparation period is 2025; the project implementation period is from 2025-2028.
The investment in upgrading and expanding the route aims to gradually complete the planned traffic infrastructure; enhance regional and regional traffic connectivity; improve conditions, improve road exploitation capacity; reduce congestion, limit traffic accidents; contribute to expanding urban space, promote socio-economic development; ensure national defense and security. At the same time, promoting the investment efficiency of a number of projects that have been and are being invested in the area.
Regarding the compensation, support and resettlement plan, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the People's Committees of Tan Tien, Tan An and Bac Lung communes and wards to organize and implement it in accordance with the provisions of law.
