On March 24, Binh Thuan Provincial Police said that in Hoa Thang Commune, Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan Province, a fire broke out on dry grass and ground cover with the risk of spreading. Hoa Thang Commune Police and local forces promptly deployed measures to extinguish the fire.

The fire arose from burning dry grass and vegetation near a tourist area in Hoa Thang commune. Due to strong winds, the fire broke out and there was a risk of spreading to the nearby cajuput forest.
After receiving the report, Hoa Thang Commune Police arrived at the scene, implementing the "4 on-site" motto. About 50 people including commune police forces, grassroots security forces, members of Le Hong Phong Forest Management Board and tourist area staff were mobilized, quickly deploying fire fighting measures. After about 3 hours of firefighting, the fire was basically under control.

However, about 6 hours later, the fire broke out again. Hoa Thang Commune Police continue to coordinate with forces participating in fire fighting. The fire was completely extinguished after about 1 hour of firefighting.
