The Suu stream water supply project (Ha Giang 2 ward) and the 183 provincial road from Quang Binh commune to Dong Yen commune are two key projects of Tuyen Quang. The projects are being accelerated, striving to reach the finish line on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
The Suu stream water supply system project has a total investment of more than 323 billion VND. The project aims to protect and exploit the water source of the Suu stream, providing domestic water for 40,000 households. At the same time, it serves irrigation for about 1,000 hectares of agricultural land.
At the construction site, workers are implementing final items such as installing pumps, completing the treatment area and tank, and leveling internal traffic routes.
Phase 1 of the project has basically completed the main items, phase 2 has reached 90.4% of the contract value.
According to Mr. Tran Quang Thuc - Deputy Director of Thong Nhat Company Limited (construction unit), in May and June, prolonged rain caused many sections of the stream to rise, making it difficult to transport materials.
From July to now, the weather has been favorable, the company has arranged overtime and mobilized maximum machinery to make up for the progress. Currently, all items of the project are ready to be completed for the handover of the project.
As for the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 183, worth nearly 300 billion VND, 36.5 km long, standard grade 4 mountainous road. Currently, the main items of the project have been basically completed.
At the construction site, workers are spreading asphalt, installing a drainage system, completing the embankment and painting the road.
When completed, the 183 provincial road will contribute to promoting trade in goods and reducing transportation costs. At the same time, it will open up opportunities to develop concentrated commodity production areas, improving access to healthcare and education services for people in Quang Binh and Dong Yen communes.
Mr. Luong Van Doan - Director of the Tuyen Quang Province Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the unit has directed officers to closely follow the site, promptly handle and remove difficulties and obstacles to speed up the construction of all construction items.
