On December 6, information from Sam Son Ward Police, Thanh Hoa Province said that the unit had verified and invited the person who posted false information about eating a bowl of pho that was "ripped off" for 300,000 VND in Sam Son to work.
Previously, on December 3, on Facebook, an account nicknamed "Hoa Vinh" posted the following content: "I have lived in Sam Son for more than 30 years, but I have not been able to eat a bowl of pho without 300k (300,000 VND)".
The post quickly attracted attention, creating many conflicting comments on social networks.
Having received the information, Sam Son Ward Police conducted verification and determined that the above content was fabricated and untrue. The Facebook account owner is N.V.V. (born in 1994; residing in village 2, Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province).
At the police station, V. admitted to posting information for the purpose of attracting likes and increasing interaction to serve the sale of clothes online. After being informed and reminded by the police, this person admitted his mistake and removed the post.
The case is currently being further handled by Sam Son Ward Police.
