Krong Nang cares and opens many vocational training classes
In mid-October 2024, the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Krong Nang district (Dak Lak province) opened 2 sewing classes for people in Ea Ho commune.
This vocational training class is implemented from the budget of the National Target Program, phase 2021 - 2025.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Sang, a sewing teacher (Krong Nang district) shared, I was contracted by the District Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center to teach 2 sewing classes with 70 students.
Most of them are ethnic minorities in the district. After 2 weeks of teaching, I was very impressed by the diligence and perseverance of the women. Some were over 50 years old but still regularly came to class and had very good skills.
"In fact, learning sewing is not difficult but requires carefulness and perseverance. After graduating, students can work at home or apply for a job in a business to earn extra income and improve their family's life," Ms. Sang added.
Ms. H' Djeh Nie (53 years old), in Ea Ho commune said, "At the age of 53, due to difficult circumstances, I am still trying to learn a new profession to improve my family's economy."
"My children cannot take care of themselves yet. I am determined to learn a trade so that in the future I can find a job or create my own job with a stable daily income. From then on, my family's life will be less difficult," said H' Djeh.
Introduced by the Ea Ho Women's Union to learn sewing, Ms. H'Bhor Nie (31 years old) is also making efforts in each class to improve her skills.
Ms. H'Bhor's biggest dream is to sew beautiful clothes for her husband and children and open a shop to repair clothes for people in the area.
Proactively create jobs and improve income
According to the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Krong Nang district, from the beginning of 2023 to October 2024, the unit opened 16 vocational training classes in localities for nearly 500 students to attend.
Most of the people participating in vocational training are ethnic minorities, people with little experience in production and business development...
The most exciting thing is that most students after studying have jobs or create their own jobs, increasing income for themselves and their families.
Mr. Nong Duc Nam - Director of the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Krong Nang district emphasized: "The unit received the direction of the District People's Committee and the good coordination of the People's Committees of communes and towns in the work of recruiting and managing students, which has been significantly improved. Since then, the quality of vocational training classes has been improved, and the rate of students having jobs after training in the area is very high".
After three years of implementing the task of vocational training for rural workers (according to the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas), the unit has achieved many joyful results.
Most notably, the district has trained a number of rural workers with basic knowledge, skills, expertise, and techniques.
They create stable jobs and increase their income, improve their family life and increase their own income. This process has contributed to gradually improving the quality of human resources, serving the socio-economic development goals of the locality.
"The biggest difficulty the unit is facing is the lack of permanent teachers to register for new professions, equipment, and machinery for training. The facilities invested in since 2010 are old, damaged, and largely out of date, making them unusable, which greatly limits the vocational training process," Mr. Nam worried.
