Many communes and wards in Ca Mau have new leaders after elections

    Ca Mau - After the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels, on March 26, many localities held the first meeting of the People's Council to elect key positions.

    In Long Dien commune, An Trach commune and Vinh Trach ward, the meetings took place seriously, in accordance with regulations, showing a spirit of responsibility, democracy and determination to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of local government activities in the new term immediately after the election.

    In Long Dien commune, at the meeting, the Commune Election Committee reported the election results, confirmed the delegate status and announced the list of 23 delegates of the 13th Long Dien Commune People's Council.

    With a spirit of democracy and responsibility, the session elected key positions of the Commune People's Council and People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term. As a result, Mr. Nguyen Nam Quan, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Hong Cam was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune People's Committee. The positions of Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee and Member of the Commune People's Committee were also elected in accordance with regulations.

    On the same day, the first session of the Commune People's Council also took place in An Trach commune. The meeting elected the titles of the Commune People's Council and People's Committee. As a result, Mr. Huynh Van Thang, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, was re-elected as Chairman of the Commune People's Council. The Commune People's Council also elected the Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the Commune People's Committee and members according to regulations; in which, Mr. Dang Minh Phap was re-elected as Chairman of the Commune People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

    In Vinh Trach ward, the first session of the People's Council elected key positions for the 2026-2031 term. Accordingly, Mr. Ngo Hieu Dan, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Council; Mr. Le Van Phuong was elected as Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.

    According to the plan, 64 communes and wards in Ca Mau province will hold the first meeting of the People's Council, term 2026-2031 to consolidate personnel work before April 1.
