In recent years, Thai Nguyen province has identified industrial development as an important direction associated with the goal of creating jobs and promoting sustainable growth.
On November 4, information from the Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade said that the whole province has currently planned 68 industrial clusters with a total area of over 2,740 hectares, of which 40 clusters have been established.
The total area of industrial clusters in operation is about 1,590 hectares, attracting 101 production projects, creating jobs for about 14,000 workers, the occupancy rate reached nearly 56% in the whole province.

The total registered investment capital in industrial clusters reached more than VND 16,600 billion, of which the implementation value by the end of 2025 is estimated to reach nearly VND 5,000 billion.
After the merger, Thai Nguyen has more room to develop infrastructure and industrial land, especially in the Southern region, which has advantages in transportation and regional connectivity.
This is an important basis to help the province attract more enterprises to invest in production, expand the scale of employment and promote economic development in a more modern and effective direction.
Thai Nguyen aims to develop a system of industrial clusters associated with urban areas, social infrastructure and environmental protection, ensuring connectivity with Hanoi and the northern midland and mountainous provinces.

Along with that, the province continues to reform administrative procedures, support small and medium enterprises, encourage the application of clean technology, towards a sustainable ecological industrial cluster model.
Thai Nguyen prioritizes attracting investment in supporting industries, mechanics, electronics, processing of agricultural and forestry products, construction materials, thereby expanding employment opportunities for local workers.
The province's goal is to develop industry in depth and effectively, create stable jobs, improve people's lives and actively contribute to the overall growth of the region.
