On the morning of February 9th, Mr. Pham Duy Thang - Head of the Traffic Infrastructure Management Department of Ha Tinh Department of Construction - said that in the afternoon of February 8th, a landslide occurred at km 103+800 on the coastal road of Ha Tinh, the section belonging to Hai Ninh ward.
It is estimated that more than 100 m3 of soil and rocks spilled onto the road, affecting people and vehicles moving from Ky Xuan commune to Hai Ninh ward.
According to Mr. Thang, if the weather continues to worsen, with heavy rain, the risk of landslides at km 103+800 in Hai Ninh ward can be more serious.
Faced with this situation, functional agencies continue to put up warning signs for people and vehicles to pay attention to safety when traveling through this route section.
The coastal road in Ha Tinh during the floods at the end of 2025 experienced heavy landslides, causing traffic to be cut off for many weeks. After that, functional forces had to block the road and organize the clearing of soil and rocks to allow vehicles to circulate again.
