According to information from the authorities of Ky Anh commune, due to the impact of heavy rain, the Dong - Trung route connecting the North - South expressway to National Highway 1 through the old Ky Giang commune, now Ky Anh commune, was eroded, causing hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil to overflow, blocking the road. The landslide made it impossible for people and vehicles to travel on this section.

On the coastal road bordering Ky Khang commune and Hai Ninh ward, landslides also occurred, causing complete isolation. The authorities are organizing barriers, diverting traffic and fixing incidents, ensuring safety for people and vehicles.
The locality has warned people and vehicles to absolutely not move through this area to avoid danger.

Due to the impact of rain and floods, Con Tre Lake in Vung Ang Ward has a 2 - 5m wide embankment landslide that causes water to flow out of the lake. This lake has a capacity of about 2,000m3. Immediately after discovering the incident, the Vung Ang ward authorities are mobilizing machinery and human resources to handle the landslide site.
On the morning of October 31, the Standing Office of the Ha Tinh Natural Disaster Prevention Command reported that currently, Ke Go Lake is overflowing 150 m3/s; Song Garbage 353 m3/s; Kim Son 50 m3/s, Thuong Song Tri 100 m3/s; Elephant Ship 13 m3/s, Khe Xai 20 m3/s; Boc Nguyen 10 m3/s; Han Da 12 m3/s. Ho Ho Hydropower Plant at 6:00 a.m. on October 31 regulated the overflow of 200 m3/s.
Due to the impact of heavy rain, flooding occurred in some communes and wards in the south of the province. Some communes and wards have flooded houses: Vung Ang ward has 146 households, Ky Xuan commune has 59 households, Ky Thuong commune has 24 households, Hoanh Son ward has 20 households.


Some inter-village and inter-commune roads are partially flooded: Vung Ang ward has 5 routes, 2km long; Hai Ninh ward is flooded with 6 routes, 4.2km long; Song Tri ward has 7 routes, 0.6km long; Ky Xuan commune has 8 routes, 0.63km long;
Hoanh Son ward has 5 routes, 1km long; Ky Thuong has 6 routes, 0.12km long; Cam Due has 5 routes, 0.62km long and some routes in Hoanh Son ward.
