On August 8, driver Le Van Ti Hon (born in 1987, residing in Con Dao Special Zone) said that he and a tourist helped get a child buried in the sand out safely. The child's health is stable and he has returned to his family.
Previously, on August 6, at an empty lot on Luong The Tran Street (residential area No. 5, Con Dao Special Zone), a boy about 10-11 years old was playing with 3 friends near a dug sand hole. When the boy crawled into the hole, the sand suddenly fell down, burying the child and the exit.
Seeing your friend buried and unable to escape, the remaining boys called for help. At around 5pm, while waiting in the car for a passenger, driver Le Van Ti Hon heard the shout, so he quickly approached to join the sand digging.
"At that time, I only knew how to pick sand according to instructions, pick it in any place, with shovels and didn't dare to continue using it for fear of hitting the child," said Mr. Hon.

According to Mr. Hon, after about 2 minutes, they found the baby, and at that time the baby was in a sitting position, still conscious. Because the child's face was bent down, there was no sand in his eyes or nose.
The image of the driver and tourists saving the child from the sand piles was then posted on social media, and quickly spread because of this beautiful gesture.
Mr. Hon said that despite his high blood pressure, due to anxiety, he tried to dig up the sand as quickly as possible to find the baby. When he saw the child safe and went home, he breathed a sigh of relief: "I think whoever is in that situation will do the same."
It is known that driver Ti Hon (born in 1987, from An Giang) and his family live in Con Dao and work as an electric taxi driver. After the incident, Mr. Hon was encouraged and shared by many friends and colleagues.
