Accordingly, on the morning of May 8, 2025, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province will organize a launching ceremony for the "digital education system" movement in the province. This is one of the steps to concretize Plan No. 265-KH/TU dated April 24, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, aiming to popularize digital skills for all classes of people, especially in rural, mountainous and border areas.
According to the plan, the Launching Ceremony will take place at the Provincial Party Committee Hall and will be connected online to all district, commune, village, hamlet-level bridges and provincial departments, branches and sectors. The participants at the meeting points included provincial leaders, socio-political organizations, telecommunications enterprises, representatives of universities and colleges, and a large number of cadres, party members and people.
The "Digital education movement" is identified as a key task in the digital transformation process, aiming to raise awareness and popularize basic knowledge about information technology, digital skills, and artificial intelligence. In particular, the program has a section of a thematic report updating knowledge on the application of artificial intelligence in life and work. This is a highlight to help people access technology more vividly, more closely and practically.
In order to implement the plan, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province assigned the Department of Science and Technology to be the unit in charge of organizing and coordinating with departments, preparing documents and contents, ensuring smooth online transmission to the bridge points. Along with that, spreading and propagating widely on the event, contributing to the spread of the movement to the people through the mainstream media of the locality and the central level.
The Provincial People's Committee also called on telecommunications enterprises such as VNPT, Viettel, Mobifone, BKAV... to accompany the program, especially supporting equipment and internet services for people in difficulty in areas with no digital access conditions.
